FC Dallas has the highest rated U.S. Soccer Development Academy in the nation, and has ignited the careers of seven MLS players including the first American-born FIFA U-17 World Cup Champion, Richard Sanchez. As the first step in identifying potential players for the FC Dallas Academy and ECNL, the FC Dallas School of Excellence Soccer Camps are designed to maximize the potential of all aspiring young players. There is no better way to develop elite-level players than by training alongside the professionals on the world class facilities at FC Dallas Stadium in Frisco, Texas. Our exclusive training curriculum, known as the FCD Way has been designed by the FC Dallas Professional Coaching Staff and includes sessions from Head Coach Schellas Hyndman. FC Dallas is committed to changing the landscape of US soccer by developing, training and producing technically proficient and tactically sound players. Our soccer camps have been attended by players from all over the USA and several international countries, with players going on to play at the State, Regional and Collegiate Levels. We offer residential and commuter programs for all players throughout the summer.

School of Excellence Soccer Camps

FC Dallas offers mulitple unique levels of development:

• Young Player Development: (Level 1) Designed for players aged 6-9
• Junior Academy Player Development: (Level 2) Designed for youth academy players aged 6-9
• Advanced Player Development: (Level 3) Designed for players aged 9-16
• Elite Boys Residential Camp: (Level 4B) Overnight camp for serious male players aged 11-16
• Elite Boys Goal Keeper Camp: (Level 4GK) Overnight camp for serious GK's aged 11-16
• Elite Girls Residential Camp: (Level 4G) Overnight camp for serious female players aged 11-16
• Elite Girls Goal Keeper Camp: (Level 4GK) Overnight camp for serious GK's aged 11-16

Training sessions are open to any player, regardless of soccer club affiliation, who is interested in improving their skills and learning proper techniques utilized by the professional team. These are programs offered by the professional team and therefore do not require skills releases.

FC Dallas School of Excellence Soccer Camps are specifically designed for players to develop solid fundamentals of soccer in an educational, structured, energized and professional manner at one of the best soccer complexes in the country. Participants will receive 1-on-1 instruction time with the FC Dallas coaching staff. FC Dallas professional players will be on site to lend their expertise and interact with participants.

Young Player Development (Level 1) Soccer Camp:

YPD Soccer Camps follow a three-hour, four-day format, designed to meet the developmental demands of players aged 6 to 9. This training program will rapidly advance the skills of young players and allow them to develop the most important elements of youth soccer in professional environment and learn how to play the FC Dallas way. Each participant will receive instruction from FC Dallas professional players and professional staff coaches. This is a great way to get your game ahead of the rest.

Benefits include:

• Complete soccer technical skills tune up and introduction to Goalkeeping
• Players are initially grouped according to age (U-6, U-8, U-10), then reassigned based on ability in order to maximize development

Junior Academy Player Development (Level 2) Soccer Camp:

Junior Academy Player Soccer Camps follow a three-hour, four-day format, designed to meet the developmental demands of players currently playing in youth academy programs. This new training program addresses the challenges faced in academy development and rapidly advances the skills and creative ideas of young players. The training curriculum is based on the Advanced Player Development Model. Each participant will receive instruction from FC Dallas professional players and professional staff coaches who specialize in youth development.

 Advanced Player Development (Level 3) Soccer Camp: 

APD Soccer Camps follow a 6 hour, four-day format, designed to meet the tactical demands of competitive players aged 9 to 16. This fantastic training program will allow advanced players to train like a professional player and experience intense workout sessions used by top level professional players that are taken directly from the FC Dallas playbook. Each participant will receive individual and group instruction in a professional environment designed to help players focus on maximizing their playing potential.

This is a one of kind program that only FC Dallas can offer!

 Elite Player Residential (Level 4) Camp:

Elite Girls Camps are designed for aspiring players to gain valuable experience of the development needs required at the Elite Level. Through our ECNL, College & WPSL coaching experience, players will be challenged in environments designed specifically for girl athletes. The innovative, female player-centered coaching curriculum taught in a professional environment will enhance the overall soccer experience by creating a better and more successful player. Club/Travel, ODP, Junior ECNL and ECNL players are welcome. This is the ultimate training program that rivals any college soccer camp but only the professional team can offer!

Elite Boys Camps are designed to meet the tactical demands of competitive players who are serious about making a career in soccer. This new and unique training camp will allow elite players to live and train as a professional player. Players will stay exclusively at FC Dallas Stadium in our on-site partner hotel for 4 days and 4 nights and experience a typical week for a professional player, participating in morning, afternoon and evening workout sessions taken directly from the FC Dallas coaching playbook. The FC Dallas Development Academy Pro-Team staff will be on hand to evaluate players for possible entry to our 2013/2014 roster

Elite Residential Camp benefits include:

• 4 nights accommodation at our on-site partner hotel which is on the grounds of our stadium complex (Comfort Suites Frisco Square) with all meals provided for full residential players
• Commuter rates available for day release players (tuition, lunch and dinner included, no accomodation)
• Complete soccer technical tune up and tactical development for defenders, midfielders,  forwards and goalkeepers
• Players are initially grouped according to age (U-12, U-14, U-16), then reassigned based on ability in order to maximize development
• Workshops on positional roles/systems of play, nutrition, soccer fitness session, recovery training & College Soccer Eligibility
• Official adidas equipment package including training gear and soccer ball
• Private observation of FC Dallas professional training sessions
• One on one interaction with FC Dallas players and technical coaching staff

Elite Goal Keeper (Level 4GK) Camp:
 

  Elite Goal Keeper Camps are designed to meet the demands of competitive Goal Keepers from both a technical and matchplay scenarios. Players will stay exclusively at FC Dallas Stadium in our on-site partner hotel for 4 days and 4 nights and experience a typical week for a professional Goal Keeper, participating in morning, afternoon and evening workout sessions taken directly from the FC Dallas Goal Keeping Curriculum. The FC Dallas Development Academy Pro-Team GK staff will be on hand to evaluate players for possible entry to our 2012/2013 roster. Club/Travel, ODP, Junior ECNL and ECNL players are welcome. This is the ultimate training program that rivals any GK camp but only the professional team can offer!  

 Elite Goal Keeper Camp benefits include:

• 4 nights accommodation at our on-site partner hotel which is on the grounds of our stadium complex (Comfort Suites Frisco Square) with all meals provided for full residential GK's
• Commuter rates available for day release GK's (tuition, lunch and dinner included, no accomodation)
• Complete soccer technical tune up and tactical development for goalkeepers
• GK's are initially grouped according to age for GK specific training (U-12, U-14, U-16) - then reassigned to outfield player groups for evening matchplay
• Workshops on the modern goal keeper, decision making, mental toughness & psychology, organizing set plays & College Soccer Eligibility
• Official adidas equipment package including training gear and soccer ball
• Private observation of FC Dallas professional Goal Keeping training sessions
• One on one interaction with FC Dallas players and technical coaching staff
