All U.S. Soccer fans are invited to attend the U.S. Women’s National Team public training session on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 4 p.m. CT at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
Admission is free and open to the public. Fans can enter through the East Gate beginning at 3:30 p.m. CT. U.S. Soccer Supporters Club members in the Star Club and above will receive field level access at the public training session. If fans wish to take part in this exclusive priority, they can join the U.S. Soccer Supporters Club Star Club or upgrade their membership at ussoccer.com/supporters.
The U.S. Women’s National Team will open its 2014 schedule with a match against Canada on Jan. 31, at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, home to FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. The match will kick off at 8 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1. Fans can also follow along on Twitter @ussoccer_wnt.
More than 16,000 tickets have been sold for the game. Tickets are on sale via ussoccer.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at all Ticketmaster ticket centers throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex (including many Walmart and Fiesta stores). [Note: The Toyota Stadium ticket office will be open for in-person sales Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.].
This will be the third appearance for the U.S. Women at Toyota Stadium, and the second match there against Canada. The USA last played in Frisco on Feb. 11, 2012, in front of 20,677 fans that braved near-freezing temperatures to see Alex Morgan score two late goals to pull out a 2-1 victory against New Zealand. The USA also played there in May of 2007 in a 6-2 victory over Canada.
