FRISCO, Texas - The FC Dallas Academy continued the strong start to the season with all three academy teams battling against the Dallas Texans last weekend at the University of Texas-Dallas. The U-18's shut out the Texans, with a final score of 2-0, while the U-16's had a strong 3-1 win and U-14's came from two goals down to draw 2-2. Dallas Texans Under-18's: 0
The under-18's continued their unbeaten start with a 2-0 win over the Dallas Texans. Second half strikes from Patrick Khouri in the 51st minute and Yannick Koffi in the 56th minute sealed the win.
Dallas Texans Under-16's: 1
Academy player Nicholas Hamalainen started the game off on the right foot with a goal in the fourth minute, but the game was tied 1-1 at halftime. Two second half goals from academy players Ryan Barlow and Emanuel Perez assured a 3-1 win for FC Dallas over the Texans.
Dallas Texans Under 14-'s: 2
Two goals in the second half gave FCD a hard-earned point against the Texans U-14 team. Goals by Abelardo Escalante-Torres and Manuel Molina pulled FCD from two goals down to continue their undefeated start to the season.
