Hernan Pertúz

Along with forward Fabian Castillo, Pertúz is the second youthful Colombian FC Dallas has signed in the past year. The six-foot center back will turn 23 on March 31. He scored one goal this season with Independiente Medellín, who finished the Liga Postobon with a 6-8-4 record. The up-and-coming defender will be called upon to add depth to the FC Dallas backline.  

“Pertúz is a solid center back that has captained the Colombian U-23 National Team,” said Hyndman. “He is a player that will bring us the balance we need on our team and provide us with another strong defender in this position.”
