2012: Joined the Rapids midseason and quickly earned a spot in the starting lineup, starting all remaining eight games of the regular season. 2011-09: Was signed by English Premier League side Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2009. He made 49 appearances for the club before joining the Rapids in 2012. 2009-01: Made his professional debut with Club Deportivo Olimpia of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, in the Liga Nacional de Honduras in 2001 as a 16-year-old, where he played in 143 matches through 2009, scoring six goals. Helped the team to seven championships, and scored Olimpia’s 2,000th league goal of all time on September 30, 2007.
Has earned 38 caps with the Honduras national team. Made his first international appearance in 2005. Has scored twice for his national team, the first in a friendly against Colombia on March 26, 2008, and the second against Canada in 2010 World Cup qualifying on October 11, 2008. Played for Honduras in the 2010 World Cup and the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
