THOUSAND OAKS, California (Aug. 31, 2025) – North Texas SC (9-10-4, 34 points) earns a 1-0 win over Ventura County FC (10-8-5, 37 points) on Sunday night from William Rolland Stadium. Captain Sam Sarver scored the lone goal for North Texas.

CAPTAIN SARVER CONVERTS

FC Dallas forward Sam Sarver scored his 16th goal of the 2025 campaign from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute. Sarver joins Ronaldo Damus and current FC Dallas teammate Bernard Kamungo for the most goals in a single-season in North Texas SC history. The Hoosier Alum continues to lead MLS NEXT Pro in the Golden Boot race with 16 goals in 20 matches played this season.

NO HARM AROUND JT

Goalkeeper JT Harms made seven saves tonight, tying his career high, and earned his second clean sheet of the year. Harms leads the team with 38 saves. The Indiana University graduate registered his third win this season.
