FC Dallas hosts Houston this Sunday in 2013 Texas Derby

Join us at FC Dallas Stadium on Sunday, March 17 for the 2013 Texas Derby between FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo presented by NovoNordisk.

The match kicks at high noon, 12 p.m. CT, for a national TV broadcast on ESPN2.

ESPN’s Soccer Today presented by BB&T, with hosts Marc Stein and Steve Davis will broadcast live from 10-11 a.m. outside FC Dallas Stadium on the east side of the facility near the supporters tailgate with live guests.

Gates to FC Dallas Stadium open at 10:30 a.m. and there’s plenty of action inside FC Dallas Stadium before the match starts.

The first 5,000 kids through the gates will receive a Be Covered Texas backpack.

ESPN analyst and U.S. Soccer legend Alexi Lalas is the special guest who will scarf the Lamar Hunt statue.

Beer for purchase in the Budweiser Beer Garden and Club 96 will be in St. Patrick’s Day green bottles and after the match, DJ Sober will also perform a live set at Club 96.

Members of the FC Dallas Youth will be recognized on the field before the match as part of a special pre-game ceremony.
