The 1-0 scoreline held until the 60th minute, when Alberto Galvan scored his fifth of the season. Kellyn Acosta rounded out the scoring with FCD's third goal in the 75th minute.

The win allowed the U-16s to hold on to second place in the Texas Division and maintain pace with the first place Dallas Texans, who hold a 10-point lead over FC Dallas.

The FC Dallas Academy teams will host Solar Chelsea SC at the FC Dallas Stadium Complex this Saturday.
