American Exports: Cooper set to dress for 1860

Striker has fully recovered from ankle injury suffered in July

AMSTERDAM – 1860 Munich striker Kenny Cooper looks set to suit
up for the first time this season when the Lions travel to face
Ingolstadt on Sunday. The 26-year-old has regained full fitness after suffering an ankle injury on the first day of full preseason training in July.

"It's possible he is in the team [on Sunday]," 1860 spokeswoman Lil
Zercher told on Tuesday. "I think he won't play from the
beginning, but he could be on the bench."

Zercher also said the former FC Dallas star has been given a green light for full match action.

"He has been training with the team for two or three
weeks now," she added. "He is ready."

The American has not appeared in a league match for 1860 since last
November, having scored three times in 14 games overall last season. Cooper spent the second half of the campaign on loan with
English side Plymouth Argyle.

Coming off a weekend win over Hertha Berlin, 1860 Munich stand
eighth in the 2.Bundesliga and five points adrift of a promotion place.
