FC Dallas midfielder David Ferreira
has been named to the 2010 MLS Best XI, which annually honors the
league’s best players at their positions.

One
of three finalists for the 2010 Volkswagen MLS MVP award, Ferreira
scored eight goals and dished out 13 assists (second-most in the league)
during the regular season. The Colombian playmaker has been widely
praised all season for his play and importance to the Dallas attack.
Despite being the most fouled player in MLS, the sturdy midfielder has
played all but one minute for the Dallas side this season. On Sunday, he
scored the first of three Dallas goals against the L.A. Galaxy to send
FC Dallas to its first MLS Cup.

The
Dallas side will travel to Toronto to take on Eastern Conference
Champion Colorado on Sunday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
