96 Boys Premier in First Place of the USYS National League

FC Dallas Youth 96 Premier Boys played 4 matches in the USYS National League in Wilson, North Carolina. The USYS National League is made up of only the top teams in the USA with the eventual winner receiving an automatic invitation to the USYS National Championships in the summer of 2011.

Their first match was against the state champions from Florida. The team won 2-1 with goals from Luis Hernandez and Ilya Dmitriakov.

The second match was against the Georgia state champions Concorde Fire. The 96 boys won 3-2 with goals from Antonio Aguilar, Jesus Garcia and Homero Montemayor III.

The third match was against the Maryland State Champions and FCDY was victorious again with 3-2 result. The home side saw goals from Luis Hernandez, Tanner Gardner and Paulo Sanchez.

In the final matchup of the weekend was played against South Texas State Champions Lonestar Soccer Club. Goals by James French, Dean Madden and Milton Rosales earned FC Dallas 96 Premier a 3-0 win.

The team is currently in first place with 12 points with three games remaining. They travel to Las Vegas, Nevada in March 2011 to play the three remaining national league games.
