GENERAL QUESTIONS:

Q: Do I have to be a member of FC Dallas Youth Club to attend?
A: Not at all. The FC Dallas Schools of Excellence Training Camp is the "Official Training Camp of FC Dallas of Major League Soccer." While we share the same name as FC Dallas Youth Soccer Club, the FC Dallas Schools of Excellence Training Camp is not directly affiliated with FC Dallas Youth Soccer Club. The FC Dallas Schools of Excellence Training Camps are open to any player, regardless of club affiliation, who is interested in improving their skills and developing proper techniques that will help development.

Q: What does each program participant receive?
A: Please visit the  benefits section  and read about each program.

Q: Do participants need to bring a lunch?
A: Yes, each player needs to bring his/her own lunch. FC Dallas does not provide lunch.

Q: Do participants need to bring their own water?
A: Yes, players need to bring their own water bottle to drink from. Drinking stations will be at each location and water will always be available.

Q: What should I bring the training program and what should I wear?
A: Players should bring shin guards, soccer cleats, and footwear appropriate for use on a turf surface. Each player must also have a parent or guardian sign the waiver and release form prior to participating in the program.

Q: Is your training program for boys only?
A: No, all of our training programs are for both boys and girls.

Q: Is there any specialized goalkeeper training?
A: Specialized goalkeeper training will be offered. Training is offered from FC Dallas Goalkeeper coach and former professional, Jeff Cassar, and other members of the goalkeeping staff - both players and coaches.

Q: Are there any team or family discounts available?
A: Please call our offices directly to find out more information and see what is available.

Q: What is your instructor to player ratio?
A: Our instructor to player ratio is typically 1:15. Instructors will also rotate and work with different age groups throughout the week.

A: There are several ways to register for our training programs:

Q: What if I am having trouble or experiencing technical difficulty while registering online?
A: If you are having trouble or experiencing any difficulty, please call (214) 705-6721 to speak to a member of our staff.

Q: If it rains will the training program be cancelled?
A: No, unless weather conditions become too dangerous. Some of the programs are held on artificial turf fields that are capable of handling rain. Parents will be able to call our hotline at (214) 705-6721.

Q: What happens if I get sick or injured and cannot attend, do I get a refund?
A: Please review the Registration Policy on the application form.

Q: How do I know which FC Dallas players will be at each training program?
A: Players are assigned to locations based on their availability and the team's game schedule.
