The U-18s posted their third shutout of the season on Saturday, blanking the Rapids 2-0. The sides played to a scoreless first half before striker Bobby Edet scored the eventual game-winner in the 65th minute. Forward Victor Portillo added and insurance goal in the 85th minute, and goalkeepers Caleb Underwood and Jesse Gonzalez played 45 minutes each to combine for the clean sheet.

The win boosted the U-18s up another spot in the Frontier Division standings to second place with a record of 5-2-0. FC Dallas is just three points behind Sporting Kansas City in the standings, with a game in-hand on the first-place club.
