Also, we'll have our first official away game watching party or Party at the Pubs next Friday, March 30 at The Allen Wickers in Plano when FC Dallas takes on DC United from our nation's capital at 6:30. The first 100 guests will receive MLS-branded pint glasses, there will be a drawing for a team autographed ball, $2 domestic bottles, $2 wells, $2 margaritas, the FC Dallas Promo Girls, and much more! We'll see you there.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Lucky Limerick Giveaway. It was fun to see all the submissions that came in. Here are the winners, who each get two tickets to Saturday's St. Patrick's Day match vs Portland.
Christopher Young:
Dallas ‘Til I Die I loudly scream
The Timbers are next for us to ream
They don’t stand a chance
And won’t win this dance
As we cut down their entire team
Art & Trinity Cantu:
Uncle Lamar keeps a watchful eye,
So come on in don't be shy,
Red, White, and Blue are our colors,
United We Stand next to our sisters and brothers,
Remember that we are Dallas 'Til I Die!
Nathan Pettijohn:
New York tried to create a disaster
Goals from Loyd and Villar came much faster
Ugo shut down Henry
For the whole crowd to see
And they sent those old Bulls to their pasture
Sheila Esmaili-Doki:
Kevin Hartman and Matt Hedges
Keep FC Dallas fans on the edges
Of their bright crimson seats
With concession stand treats
Like pretzels and potato wedges
Doris & Jon Reutinger:
There once was a man in the goal
Kevin, his name - what control
El gato they say
Could stop balls any day
Few goals scored with him on patrol
Chase Rose:
Dallas will put excellence on display,
They need no luck to other teams' dismay.
Though the Irish within will inspire fight
The red and the blue will make the score right
It is Portland who will timber today.
Evan Engwall:
There is a goalkeeper from Dallas,
Whose opponents shoot at him with malice.
But their shots he will save
And to the fans he will wave
As he raises the MLS Cup like a chalice.
FC Dallas and U.S. Men’s National team midfielder Brek Shea is giving away this original painting celebrating 2012 First Kick and his autographed game-worn boots from this Sunday's game.
The winner must be present at the March 11th game vs. New York Red Bulls here at FC Dallas Stadium where the winner will be announced at halftime. Shea will meet the prize winner in the WinStar River Club following the match to hand over the artwork and his boots.
Shea is running the contest through his Left Foot Studio website and to be eligible fans to follow him and the studio on Twitter to enter. The official entry form is here.

MLS First Kick presented by Dick's Sporting Goods is fast approaching - just a little more than one week away.
FC Dallas fans will notice some changes which will get them into FC Dallas Stadium early and have a good time.
New for all 2012 FC Dallas Games is Lamar’s Tailgate Party.
It starts 90 minutes before first kick (so 12:30 p.m. for March 11) on the North Concourse and features BBQ, street tacos and other food. Even better - different food and drink specials prior to every game.
The fun continues on the Budweiser Beer Garden with live music, pool ball (think soccer and billiards mixed together on a giant pool table), Bud promo girls, prizes, and more food and drink specials extended through the whole game.
The culmination of the tailgate party is the return of the scarfing ceremony of the Lamar Hunt statue. Each game will have a special guest doing the scarfing.
Game starts at 2 p.m. Tickets are going fast and are on sale at fcdallas.com and will be televised on NBC Sports Network.
For the New York Red Bulls game there will be vuvuzelas to the first 5,000 fans.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the opening of the FCD pop-up shop inside Trinity Hall. Those who came out enjoyed themselves and getting to check out the new FC Dallas gear. The pop-up shop is open Friday from 5-10 p.m. and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The first chance to check out the 2012 FC Dallas kit will be at a pop-up shop that opens this Thursday. The shop will be located at a fun Dallas location (nope, we aren't telling you where and when yet) and will have the new jersey, scarf, t-shirt and hat for sale. This will be a chance to mingle with fellow FCD fans and be the first to see and purchase the new jersey. The pop-up shop will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Invited season ticket holders showed up in force for Saturday's Meet the Team event. It was a great chance for those fans to get autographs and pictures with this year's team. Brek Shea and Blas Perez were, not surprisingly, popular with the fans.
