Meet the Players
Kellyn Acosta
 
 - At the age of 16, Kellyn signed a Homegrown contract with FC Dallas  on July 12, 2012. 
 - Acosta has yet to feature in an MLS regular season match, but the Plano, Texas native has appeared on the substitutes bench multiple times this season. 
 - Kellyn was a key member of the FC Dallas Under-18 US Soccer Development Academy squad that won the 2012 national championship. 
 National team career: 
 - Kellyn has featured for the U.S. national team at every youth level. 
 - He broke into Tab Ramos' under-20 team recently and featured prominently in June's Toulon Tournament in France.
 - Acosta figures to fill it at a few different positions for Ramos' squad in Turkey potentially playing outside back, outside midfield and central midfield. 
 - Kellyn is the second-youngest player on the Under-20 World Cup roster
 
Danny Garcia
 - Danny Garcia signed with FC Dallas  as the 11th Homegrown player in team history on Tuesday after one year at the University of North Carolina.
 - Garcia earned ACC Freshman of the Year honors with the Tar Heels in 2012 with four goals and six assists in 23 games. 
 - The Dallas-native was a big part of the 2012 Under-18 National Championship team scoring a goal in the final. 
 National team career:
 - Garcia has been a key contributor to Tab Ramos' under-20 squad since the very beginning of the qualification cycle. 
 - Garcia played in four of the five CONCACAF U-20 Championship matches earlier this year including all 120 minutes of the championship game against Mexico 
 - Danny should find time with the US in Turkey as a slashing winger who loves to cut in and take a hard shot. 

 

Richard Sanchez

 - At the age of 16, Richard Sanchez signed with FC Dallas as a Homegrown player on February 18, 2011.
 - The 19-year-old has yet to play in an MLS game, but he has featured on the bench multiple times, including a long stretch while Chris Seitz was out last year
 - Sanchez logged 360 minutes in five reserve league appearances last year with a 1.50 GAA. 
 National team career:
 - Sanchez starred on the Mexico team that won the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in 2011. 
 - Richard has featured prominently at every level of Mexico's youth teams including starting every match en route to the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship in early 2013. 
 - The California-native should start every game for head coach Sergio Alaguer's squad in Turkey
