FC Dallas forward Brek Shea attended last night's Mavericks/Rockets game at the American Airlines Center. He was interviewed by Jeff 'Skin' Wade during halftime on TXA 21 and got to meet up with Mavs star Dirk Nowitzki after the game. The two got to hang out and chat and took a second to take this photo.
NEW YORK – A week after suspending three players for on-field actions, the Major League Soccer Disciplinary Committee announced today that New England Revolution midfielder Shalrie Joseph has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount for a reckless challenge that endangered the safety of his opponent.
Joseph’s action occurred in the 62nd minute of the match between FC Dallas and New England Revolution on Thursday, April 5th. The veteran lost the ball in the midfield and brought Dallas midfielder Ricardo Villar down with a tackle from behind. Joseph will serve his suspension this Saturday when the Revolution play D.C. United at Gillette Stadium.
FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas midfielder Andrew Wiedeman underwent successful surgery to repair a sports hernia on Monday. Dr. Ernest Beecherl performed the surgery at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Wiedeman is expected to miss four to six weeks with the injury.

FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas has terminated the contract of Colombian striker Luis Perea by mutual consent, the club announced today.
Perea joined the team in March and appeared in two games, playing a total of 15 minutes with the first team.
A native of Medellin, Colombia, Perea spent his youth career with Atlético Nacional. In 2010, he appeared in 36 games for León de Huánuco, scoring 22 goals for the Peruvian side. The success led to a loan with Chilean football club Everton de Viña del Mar, where the young forward notched six goals in 13 games. Perea then remained in Peru to play for Universidad San Martin de Porres until the club folded in March.
