NEW YORK – The MLS Disciplinary Committee has fined FC Dallas defender Jair Benitez an undisclosed amount for his act of embellishment which brought the game into disrepute in the 65th minute of the game against Seattle Sounders FC on Oct. 21.
The Disciplinary Committee also fined LA Galaxy midfielder Robbie Keane an undisclosed amount for public criticism of the officials after his team’s game against San Jose on Oct. 21.
Fines collected will be donated to the charitable partners of MLS W.O.R.K.S. and the MLS Players Union.
Soccer Kicks Cancer makes its way to FC Dallas Stadium on Sunday night when FC Dallas promotes Breast Cancer Awareness both on and off the field.
MLS' Soccer Kicks Cancer partners with the National Breast Cancer Foundation for initiatives across the league during October.

Some game-worn items will be available for auction in November with proceeds going to charity.
U.S. Men’s National Team and FC Dallas midfielder Brek Shea will be at the Grapevine Mills Mall GameStop Kids grand opening from 4-6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26.
He will meet fans and take on a few gamers in EA Sports’ FIFA13. Shea is one of a handful of professional soccer players on special downloadable covers for the popular video game.
Tournament competitors and fans alike will be eligible for prizes at the interactive Soccer and Speed Tour. Prizes include GameStop coupons, gift cards, t-shirts, autographed mini soccer balls and signed copies of the FIFA13 video game with Shea on the cover.

ESPN.com's Wayne Drehs and Outside The Lines recently spent some time with FC Dallas goalkeeper Chris Seitz to chronicle the 'keeper's decision to donate bone marrow. Seitz registered to become a donor with a bone marrow center called DKMS four years ago when he was with Real Salt Lake. When he received an email from the organization letting him know that they'd found a match in August, Seitz made a difficult decision to help save a total stranger.
