FC Dallas faces DC United on Friday in another nationally televised game for FCD. First kick is at 6:30 p.m. CT. Join us for our first Party at the Pubs event to watch the match.
The mystery voters behind the MLS Power Rankings kept FC Dallas at No. 6 in the Week Three rankings. FCD remained steady at the six-spot for the following reason:A short-handed effort like the one they put on against Sporting says a lot about this team's character. But it was telling that they just couldn't keep up in the dying minutes. Two years ago, it was FCD blowing past the competition at that point in the game.

Mark Followill will make his debut as FC Dallas play-by-play man this Sunday vs. Sporting Kansas City. The Dallas Morning News spoke with him about his new assignment. Here's an excerpt:
Followill is the primary TV play-by-play man for FCD games, but only when games don’t conflict with Mavericks games. FCD’s game is in Kansas City, and since the Mavericks don’t play Sunday and Monday, the veteran broadcaster plans to call Sunday’s game alongside former Dallas Burn player Brian Dunseth.
“I’m really, really excited about it,” Followill said. “Being on the broadcast is a great honor. It’s an opportunity for me to expand my own professional horizons, so I think it’s just going to be great all around.”
He has a history with the Dallas franchise, serving as the public address announcer for the Burn during their time at the Cotton Bowl and also as a fill-in PA announcer for FCD the last few years.
Brek Shea is in the April edition of Texas Monthly and is featured in "The Horses Mouth" where he discussed 10 different topics. Look for it at your local grocery store checkout or newsstand.

The FC Dallas reserves are in the Denver area for a match against the Colorado Rapids reserves today at 1 p.m. CT. We'll provide updates during the match via Twitter (@FCDallas) and have a recap posted on the website sometime after the match.
Last week the FCD reserves opened the season with a 3-1 win over Real Salt Lake inside FC Dallas Stadium. Bryan Leyva, Luis Perea and Jonathan Top netted goals for FCD.
