North Texas Giving Day is THIS THURSDAY, SEPT. 19th

CLICK HERE ON SEPTEMBER 19 TO HAVE YOUR GIFT MATCHED!

Make a donation to the FC Dallas Foundation on Thursday, Sept. 19 between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight, and a percentage of your gift will be matched by Communities Foundation of Texas. That’s 17 hours to really make a difference!

What it is:

NTX Giving Day is an effort sponsored by the Communities Foundation of Texas and the Center for Nonprofit Management in DFW, to encourage the entire North Texas community to give to their favorite nonprofit on one specific day – Sept. 19th. In 2012, this event that generated more than 37,000 donor gifts totaling $14.4 million, benefiting more than 900 nonprofits in 2012. This is the first year the FC Dallas Foundation is participating.

How it works:

  • Give $25 or more to the FC Dallas Foundation and Communities Foundation of Texas will match each dollar until time runs out.
  • Additional funds are awarded to the nonprofit that is successful in a variety of categories – such as “most donors for new participants,” (which applies to FC Dallas Foundation).

What each $25 gift can do for FC Dallas Foundation:

  • Two good quality soccer balls can be given to a local child or a child abroad that is currently playing with a coffee sack.
  • Assist a school or nonprofit with their AED training to prevent a heart related tragedy.
  • …and so much more! Your dollars go so far, and especially when matched on this day, can accomplish so much.

Visit www.fcdallasfoundation.org for more information about the FC Dallas Foundation’s projects.
