Once again, Dan Hunt sat down for his weekly Facebook chat with FC Dallas fans on Thursday afternoon. Hunt answered well over a dozen questions in this week's edition of the chat, and topics ranged from the FC Dallas Academy, to this week's fashion shoot with the players in conjunction with Nieman Marcus, to potential improvements to FC Dallas Stadium and more.
The U.S. Men's National Team takes on Costa Rica tonight (9 p.m. CT, ESPN) in a crucial World Cup Qualifier. If you're looking for a place to watch with friends in a soccer-friendly atmosphere, pay a visit to any one of our Pub Partners from around the DFW-Metroplex. You can see where all of our Pub Partners are located here.
You can visit The Staggering Irishman in North Dallas, where the FC Dallas Girls will be promoting next weekend's Party at the Pubs watch party presented by Budweiser for the FC Dallas match against the New England Revolution at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 30.
Or you could take in the game at Lemon Bar & Grill in Frisco, where there will also be a live Beatles cover band (A Hard Day's Night). Be sure to get there at 8 p.m. for a special Hope Park fundraiser event. The entire $10 cover charge plus 10% of all food and drink sales will go towards Hope Park, and there will be a blind auction with some awesom items available that will benefit the future Frisco park. The Hope Park project was FC Dallas' 2012 Community MVP, so go out and support a great cause and then support the USMNT!
The Allen Wickers in Plano will also be running some exclusive food and drink specials during the match, including $3 Heinekens and a $6.99 chicken tender basket. And Londoner Frisco will be offering beer buckets (five bottles) for $12.
FC Dallas has teamed up with El Jimador to create our first-ever signature drink (below) and we want you to help us pick the name. Imagine electric blue lemonade with an El Jimador twist!

FC Dallas defender George John and midfielder Jackson were named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week for Week 3. Along with second-year center back Matt Hedges (Week 1), they're the only FC Dallas players to make MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week in the young 2013 season. You can read Nicholas Rosano's explanations of why they made the cut below:
MF: Jackson (FC Dallas) – One of the most dangerous men on the field in Dallas' 3-2 win over Houston. His speed and skill caused plenty of issues for Houston, and he had what would have been a Goal of the Week-worthy strike called off by a controversial offside flag.

What do you think? Should any other FC Dallas players have made the cut this week for their performance against the Houston Dynamo?
After beating the Houston Dynamo 3-2 on Sunday in the Texas Derby presented by Novo Nordisk, FC Dallas has climbed four spots in the MLSsoccer.com Power Rankings. FCD landed at number 11 in the rankings for Week 3, up from 15th after Week 2.
You can take a look at the full Power Rankings and see what the MLSsoccer.com Politburo had to say about FCD's Week 3 performance here.
What do you think of FC Dallas' new spot in the Power Rankings? Is it a fair spot or should the team be higher up?

MLSsoccer.com's Daniel Robertson put out an article yesterday about FC Dallas' effective use of set pieces against a Houston Dynamo team known to be lethal in dead ball situations. Below are a few notable quotes from the feature:
Schellas Hyndman on the win: To get two goals off of a team that is strong in the air and a good goalkeeper who has been to two straight MLS Cups, it’s great.
George John on his goal: Whether it goes off of your face, your head, shoulder, if it gets in the goal, it’s a goal, so I’m happy about that and happy with three points.
Andrew Jacobson on his goal: I kind of just followed George in so I wouldn’t get shoved and got a foot on it.

Hunt Sports Group Vice President Dan Hunt sat down for his weekly chat with fans on the FC Dallas Facebook page on Thursday morning. During the chat, Hunt addressed a number of topics in response to fan questions; including the result against Chivas USA, the club's recent television deal, expectations for Kenny Cooper's first season back in an FC Dallas kit and more.
The chats are part of Hunt's recent initiative to be as interactive with FC Dallas fans as possible. The chats take place every Thursday, and you can see all of his answers from this week's chat on the FC Dallas Facebook page here.
A Dallas native, Hunt also wants to interact with FCD fans via his new Twitter account, @DanHuntFCD.
"I want the fans of this club to know how invested I am in the continued growth and success of FC Dallas, and the best way to make sure they know that is for me to talk with them directly," said Hunt. "Social media makes that communication extremely easy for me to let them know that we're all hoping and working for the same thing, and that is for FC Dallas to be a championship team."
