Kevin Hartman and George John hit the runway a few weeks ago for Fashion's Night Out at Neiman Marcus Willow Bend. DFWStyleDaily.com featured the two as part of their video coverage of the event.
The mysterious voters behind the MLS Power Rankings jumped FC Dallas to No. 9 in the Week 28 rankings, up from No. 13 last week. FCD's dramatic 1-0 win over Vancouver at home on Saturday has FCD at its highest slot in the rankings since Week Three this season. Here's what the voters had to say:
FC Dallas President Doug Quinn wanted to be with FCD supporters during Saturday's big match against the Vancouver Whitecaps, so he spent the first half in the Budweiser Beer Garden seats and the sideline seats. Here are some photos of him hanging out with the fans.

Nearly 800 Korean-Americans who live in North Texas attended Saturday's match between FC Dallas and the Vancouver Whitecaps.
The outing was organized to see Vancouver defender YP Lee, who was one of the stars of the 2002 World Cup South Korean National Team.
But according to a local Korean publication, the atmosphere and thrilling match won over many people in attendance. The whole story is worth a read, but here's an excerpt:
Charles Kim of Carrollton said he found a new love, namely FC Dallas.
"I’m a big soccer fan. And I knew that we had FC Dallas as our home team but this was the first time I actually attended FC Dallas game" said Park.
"I mean, aside from the YP Lee attraction, I’m glad I came to this game because it reminded me that we have a great home team to root for" said Park.
Young Sun Choi of Plano said her two sons had a blast. "My kids play in the Korean Soccer Association’s Youth League. So, they love soccer. Unfortunately they were both born here and they don’t know who YP Lee is. But they became FC Dallas fans after the game. They are already begging for FC Dallas jersey. The stadium is very nice and my husband wants to bring the kids to FC Dallas game regularly from now on" said Choi.

Dallas Observer BrewFest took over the Dallas Arts District on Saturday night with more than 150 brewing companies at the event.

FC Dallas held a full training session on Wednesday evening at Toyota of Lewisville Railroad Park. The session was hosted by the Great Lewisville Area Soccer Association (GLASA). Fans were able to watch training and meet the players afterward. An estimated crowd of 250-300 turned out for the event.
FC Dallas beat writer Daniel Robertson asked coach Schellas Hyndman about getting out into the community:
“It’s wonderful, wonderful. Anytime we can do something in the community, as I mentioned to the players, it’s an opportunity to give something back to the community. No professional [sports] organization can survive without the community supporting them. This is just one way for us to show our appreciation to be a part of the greater Lewisville soccer association which is a good soccer association. These are wonderful facilities here and this all came about because somebody had a vision that youth soccer and other sports were important to this community. We’re very very happy to be a part of that and I thought that the facilities again were very good, the field was in great shape and we were able to do a normal training session. That’s very important for us because no team is capable of giving away training days. So we were able to get a good training in and I think for us it was 100 percent a great event.”
